Snowmobile Safety
307 Riders Snowmobiling takes snowmobiling safety seriously and makes it a priority each time a snowmobiling trip is taken out on the trails or the backcountry.

Before hitting the snow, make sure you and who you are riding
with are always prepared!
Recommended items for any riding:

Avy bag / tunnel bag or case
Shovel
Saw
Probe
Radio
Inreach GPS or cell phone that has satellite coverage
Extra set of goggles
1 set of thick gloves
Batteries (AAA, AA, 9-Volt)
Fire starter (dryer lint, steel wool, tampons, retail fire starter)
Waterproof matches / striker
Light stick
Headlamp / flashlight (recommend LED)
Candles
Space blanket
Hand and foot warmer packets
Compass
Whistle
Mechanic's wire
Snacks: such as jerky, granola bars, candy bars, etc.
Water / Gatorade
Extra clothes: socks, gloves, base layer, anything to help keep you warm. Wrap extra clothing in plastic wrap to keep them dry.
